Savannah Katulski of the University Extension Service said she didn’t even want to think that far in advance. She was having too much fun with the fifth-grade students at the exhibit with the goats. Bridget Orsatelli was happy, though, because Savannah will be at the fair to handle the livestock results and coordination.
Kudos to Joni Ito, Laurie Ho, Johnny Gordines, and the many hands (yes, even Ed Kawamura was there with his Husqvarna toys that were also at the M. Kawamura Lawn and Garden Expo) who made this year’s Ag Awareness Day happen.
Chad Schimmelfennig of Eleele Elementary School was getting excited about the student-built hale being blessed right after the school’s May Day program, Friday, and Kalaheo School’s Marly Madayag (career day, next?) said the legacy lives on after the school’s performing arts club hosted a successful run of Aladin Jr., recently.
