Lloyd ‘Porky’ Silva
Lloyd “Porky” Silva, 62, of Kekaha, Kauai, passed away on May 16, 2018, at his home.
Born on Oct. 18, 1955, in Lihue, Kauai, Lloyd was a cane carrier with Kekaha Sugar.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Mildred Silva, and sister Geraldine Silva.
He is survived by his brother Ernest (Brenda) Silva Jr. of Kekaha; two sisters, Rosalie (Moki) Nitta of Kekaha and Jasmine Silva of Waipahu; and numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be held at a later date.

Kathleen Adair Brown
Kathleen Adair Brown, 97, of Waimea, passed away on May 16, 2018, in Waimea.
Born on May 15, 1921, in North Hollywood, California, Kathleen was an artist.
She was preceded in death by husband Charles M. Brown Jr., daughters Kathleen Fleming and Mary Brown, and son Robert Adair Hardin Brown.
She is survived by son Charles M. Brown III of Waimea, daughter Jeanne M. McVey of Washington, D.C., four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be held at a later date.

Dennis Kiyomasu Ikehara
Dennis Kiyomasu Ikehara, 94, of Lihue, Kauai, passed away on April 12, 2018, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital.
He was retired as Kauai County administrator of Hawaii Institute of Tropical Agriculture Resources.
He is survived by his wife, Jane Y. Ikehara, sons, Keith (Joan Fujimura), Rodney (Celeste), daughters, Naomi (Dave) Hamamura, Amy (Michael) Yoshinaga, Janice (Royce) Fujimoto, 11 grandchildren and his brother, John (Betty) Ikehara.
A celebration of life will be held on June 6, 2018, at Kapaa United Church of Christ at 3 p.m. with visitation at 2 p.m.

Warren Grafton Purdy III
Warren Grafton Purdy III, 84, of Kapaa, passed away at home on May 12, 2018. He was born in Maryland on Sept. 20, 1933, and was a veteran of the United States Army and Naval Reserve. He retired from Crop Production Services as an agronomist.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Warren and Pauline Purdy Jr., and sisters, Patricia and Suzanne.
Warren is survived by his wife, Donna Purdy; son, Warren “Cliff” Purdy; daughter, Paullie W. J. Purdy; one granddaughter; nieces and nephews.
A celebration of his life will be held on Monday, May 28, 2018, at Kalapaki Beach with a paddle-out at 10 a.m. BYOB.
