Film Academy expels Bill Cosby and Roman Polanski

Bill Cosby, left, in 2016, and Roman Polanski in 2017. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences Board of Governors has voted to expel Cosby and Polanski from its membership. The film academy said that its board of governors met earlier this week and voted on their status in accordance with their Standards of Conduct.
