Tsuyoshi Tommy Tanimoto
Tsuyoshi Tommy Tanimoto, 92, of Lihue, passed away on Feb. 23, 2018, at home.
Born on Feb. 20, 1926, in Lawai, he was retired as a radar technician with the Air National Guard and U.S. Army and warehouse manager with Koa Trading.
He was preceded in death by wife Edith G. Tanimoto, daughter Lou Ann Tanimoto, Pal Miko, parents Masata and Natsuko Tanimoto, and sister Sally T. Kim.
He is survived by caregivers Debbie and Houkea Bahnmiller and Amanda Phillips, daughter Joy (Ron) Kouchi, grandchildren Dan and Egan Kouchi, his Wailua ohana Florence, Eric, Fredna “Tita,” Keahi, Robyn and the late grandpa Philip, sisters-in-law Dorothy Kaneshiro, Ethel Lei Minniear, Esther (James) Kaneshiro, Janet (Edwin) Terui, Patricia Gushiken, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit with the family on Sunday, March 4, at the Kauai Veterans Center in Lihue from 2 p.m., where services will be celebrated at 3 p.m.
The family suggests casual attire and requests that flowers be omitted.
Garden Island Mortuary assisted the family with arrangements.
Teresa Louise Bealmear
Teresa Louise Bealmear of Kapaa, formerly of Missouri, passed away in Wilcox Medical Center on Feb. 24, 2018, at the age of 62. She was born in Missouri on March 12, 1955, and retired as a school bus driver with the City of Joplin.
She was preceded in death by mother Dora Bealmear.
She is survived by daughter Michele (Sean) Martin of Kapaa, sons Steve Sattler and Christopher (Monique) Castellano of Missouri, 14 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, brother Bob Bealmear, and nephews.
Private service will be held.
Kauai Memorial Gardens &Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
