Bill Spitz was first in line to get advance tickets (it’s a discount over tickets at the door) from Beth Tokioka and Marty Amaro, who will be at the market this week (Feb. 10) and next week (Feb. 17) for people needing advance tickets to the 32nd Annual American Culinary Federation breakfast which will take place Feb. 18 at Kauai Community College.

How does free horseback rides tie in with chocolate? John McClure of Moloaa Bay Coffee and Chocolate said he’s planning to get three or four cacao growers together to present a chocolate event (with horseback rides?) at the Saturday market at KCC just in time for Valentine’s Day, which falls next Wednesday.
Kudos to Susan Pittman and the Clayworks at Kilohana ohana on another great Souper Bowl event. Do they still have those limited edition cat-astropic bowls? And, it was a pleasant surprise to hear Kimberly Hope McDonough provide violin brunch music for the Gaylord’s diners.
