Wilfred S. Nogami
Wilfred S. Nogami of Ewa Beach, Oahu, passed away on Sept. 16, 2017. He was retired from the Coco Cola Company.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Mitsue; brothers, Lincoln and Stanley Nogami.
He is survived by his sisters, Elaine Fukushima of Kauai and Harriet Junttonen of New York; wife, Trude; son, Brandon of Oahu; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral and inurnment were on Kauai.
Faith ‘Kapua’ Arizo Perreira
Faith “Kapua” Arizo Perreira, 55, passed away on Dec. 31, 2017, at Wilcox Hospital. She was born on April 16, 1962, in Hawaii.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Roman and Margaret Arizo, and Noenoe Arizo.
She is survived by her son, Jay Lagazo, Jr. of Kekaha; daughter, Liza Lagazo of Kaumakani; grandchildren, William and Delcynn Lagazo and Harmony Woodman; brothers, Eric (Trish) Arizo of Waimea, Mark (Renee) Arizo of Palolo, Raynard Arizo of Hanapepe, Raymond (Sabrina) Arizo of Wainae Roy (Vanessa) Arizo of Utah; sister, Miriam Kaleo of Hilo; numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, Feb. 10, 2018, at Salt Pond Main Pavilion from 9 to 10 a.m.

Damon K. Yorkman
Damon K. Yorkman passed away on Jan. 15, 2018, at the age of 48 in Makati City in the Philippines. He was born on May 4, 1969, and was self-employed.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Craddock C. Yorkman and Ruth L. Yorkman; and maternal grandparents, Alfredo “Pidong” Eclipse and Salvacion A. Eclipse.
He is survived by his sons, Kalen Bagano of Honolulu and Taurus Yorkman of Claremore, OK; daughter, Shylee Yorkman of Vinita, OK; parents, Gilroy M. Yorkman (Marilyn Yamaguchi)/Lillian Eclipse; sisters, Shay L. Yorkman of Lihue and Natasha Capay of Lihue; and numerous aunties, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, Feb. 10, 2018, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 4587 Amakihi Rd., Kekaha. Visitation will be held from 9:30 to 11 a.m. and services to follow.

George Shigeo Kojima
George Shigeo Kojima of Kapaa died at home on Jan. 26, 2018, at the age of 88. He was born on Kauai on Aug. 29, 1929. A veteran of the United States Army, he was the owner, president and butcher of Kojima Store. George was also an avid fisherman, diver and enjoyed reading and doing yardwork.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Harue Kojima; parents, Eiji and Okono Kojima; brothers, Harold and James Kojima; and sister, Mollie Kojima.
George is survived by four children, Wanda Nagakura, Iris Kojima, Kevin Kojima, Sharon Kojima; grandchildren, Jeri Ann Nagakura, Timothy J. Nagakura, Jacqui (Cory) Neal; fur grandchildren, Hoku and Mahina; siblings, Nancy S. Kojima, Mae Sakamoto, Lorraine Kotake; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Gregorio C. Bunao
Gregorio C. Bunao, 57, of Kapaa, Kauai, passed away on Jan. 14, 2018, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital. He was born on June 4, 1960, in the Philippines.
He was preceded in death by his father, Fausto Bunao, Jr.; brother, Marcelino Bunao.
He is survived by his wife, Cresencia Bunao of Kapaa; son, Erickson (Janice) Bunao of Kapaa; daughter, Catherine (Darwin) Laguit of Kapaa; grandchildren, Kristelle, Kamille and Kian Laguit, Jazleen and Edrick Padamada-Bunao; brother, Leopoldo (Nellie) Bunao of Kapaa; sister, Annabel (Eldy) Ragasa of Kapaa; and numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, Feb. 10, 2018, at St. Catherine Church from 8 to 9:45 a.m. where Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at St. Catherine Church Cemetery.

Kalaulimaopeleokekaipakalani ‘Laulima’ Paniccia Lyman
Kalaulimaopeleokekaipakalani “Laulima” Paniccia Lyman, 38, of Kapaa, passed away Jan. 24, after a long and hard fought struggle with cancer. She was born March 20, 1979, in Honolulu. Laulima grew up in Waialua, Oahu, and attended Kamehameha Schools. She graduated from Naropa University, majoring in Buddhist psychology. While attending college, she fell in love with Winterpark, Colorado, and the many friends she made there. She became an avid snowboarder and remained in the Rocky Mountains for 10 years. She also developed a fierce pioneer spirit and honed her independent nature and love of adventure.
After graduation, Laulima moved to Kauai, where she had spent many summers growing up, camping and hiking. She worked at Duke’s Restaurant where she met her husband, Caleb Odam. They have two children, Kala’e, 7, and Ka’ena, 3.
Laulima loved spending time with her family at home, tending to her rose garden, surfing, paddling, and just generally being in or near the ocean.
Laulima was deeply loved by family and friends, who describe her as always graceful and gracious. She gave freely of herself and of her wisdom and will be missed by many.
She is survived by her husband, Caleb Odam, her sisters, Aleui and A’ala Lyman; her brother, Kepa Lyman; her father, James “Kimo” Lyman; her grandmother, Mary Paniccia; godmother, Patti Paniccia Mailes; and a large family of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws.
Laulima was preceded in death by her mother, Victoria Paniccia Lyman. Her family and friends describe her as a loving and caring person who was deeply loved by family and friends.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, Feb. 17, 2018, at 10 a.m. at Lydgate Park in Kapaa.
