Violet Kauo Almarza, 76 years old, originally of Kauai, passed away on Jan. 10, 2018, in Kent, Washington. She was born on Jan. 9, 1942, in Honolulu. She was retired from Woolworth’s Restaurant after 39 years.
She is survived by her husband, Bernard R. Almarza of Kent, Washington; sons, Bernard C. (Putsie) and Donald (Lori) of Lihue, daughters, Sandra (Ipo) Yoshioka of Lihue and Pamela (Ricky) Maghanoy of Kent, Washington, 15 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
