POIPU — Kukuiula Outrigger Canoe Club will host a “Welcome and Recruiting Day” on Feb. 3 at the Kukuiula Small Boat Harbor in Poipu.
The event will begin 10 a.m. Subjects that will be covered include an introduction to paddling and the club, and information on the club and the paddling season.
Those attending are encouraged to wear a bathing suit under fitness-type clothes and to bring water, sunscreen, a hat, towel, a change of clothes, a chair and cooler for lunch.
