Flynn Halley Wood
Flynn Halley Wood of Anahola passed away at home on Jan. 5, 2018, at the age of 78. He was born on Oahu on June 3, 1939, and was a computer programmer.
He is survived by wife Maggie Wood, son Flynn “Hikape” (Kristeen) Wood, daughters Suzanne Hill and Kathryn Park, grandchildren Rachyl, Kevin, James, Dennis, Thomas, Dane, Keith, Brian, Russell and Leah, great-grandchildren Joe, Shayne, Hunter, Elise, Taylor, Mason, Kevin and Cole, brother Wayne “Kalani” (Dee) Slater, and nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, Jan. 27, at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Kapaa, 4-1731 Kuhio Hwy., with visitation from 2:30 p.m. and services beginning at 3 p.m.
Kauai Memorial Gardens &Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
Loren Gale Gabbard
Loren Gale Gabbard, born Aug. 29, 1927, in Sabetha, Kansas, passed away peacefully on Jan. 6, 2018, in Cambridge, Ohio, at the age of 90. He was the owner and operator of Gabbards Antiques.
He was preceeded in death by wife Mary Ivy Patterson-Gabbard, parents Sidney Gabbard and Edith Lyman-Penn, brother John Gabbard and sister Virginia Gabbard-Boswell.
He is survived by daughters Zona Gale Gabbard and Mary Gabbard Hanft, son Grady Gabbard, grandchildren Shane Ford, Casie Ford Wicklund and Jasmine Hanft, and great-grandchild Autumn Wicklund.
A private service will be held at Kalapaki Bay Memorial Park.
Susan A. Linoz Butacan
Susan A. Linoz Butacan, 67, of Lihue, passed away on Nov. 26, 2017 at Wilcox Medical Center.
She was born on Oct. 14, 1950, in Lihue.
She was preceded in death by parents Dalmacio and Feliza Linoz, brother Leonard Linoz, and sister Innocencia Linoz.
She is survived by sons Robert (Renee Navarro) Linoz and Douglas (Pearl) Butacan, daughters Roberta Linoz and Stephanie Rodrigues, grandchildren Kaimana Navarro Linoz, Kawika Navarro Linoz, Kekoa Smith, Ashley Green and Scott Kaohelaulii, sisters Linda Paza, Charleen (Glen) Ganeku, Theresa Kihano and Charmaine Duarte, brothers Howard (Luz) Linoz, Derrick Linoz, John (Ruth) Linoz and Brandon Linoz, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, Jan. 27, at 11 a.m. at the Koloa Neighborhood Center for a celebration of life.
The family suggests casual attire.

Terry Lei Na‘ihe
Terry Lei Na‘ihe peacefully passed away on Saturday, Jan. 13, 2018, at Garden Island Rehabilitation and Healthcare. She was born on June 28, 1954, in Honolulu.
She was preceded in death by mother Patricia Ross Ashbaker, father Richard Lewis Ashbaker, and grandparents H.P and Kathryn Ross.
She is survived by sister Beverly (Chris) Sorensen, sons Mahiai Richard Naihe and Lawaia Edward Naihe, former husband Charles Naihe, granddaughters Kinohi O’ Nani Pattilei Naihe, Kaua Noe O’ Kalani Angelei Naihe, and their mother Tiffany Angelei Mahelona, grandson Aula‘i Christopher Naihe and his mother Stephanie Kapiolani Ching.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, Jan. 28, at Anahola Beach Park at 10 a.m. A scattering of her ashes will follow.
Plumeria flowers and lei welcome.
