POIPU — Alexander & Baldwin welcomes the latest addition to the South Shore dining experience, award-winning Ruth’s Chris Steak House at The Shops at Kukui‘ula. The steak house is scheduled to open on Oct. 30, this will be the first Ruth’s Chris on the island.
“Sizzlin’ since 1965,” Ruth’s Chris serves corn-fed Midwestern beef broiled in special ovens designed by restaurant founder Ruth Fertel.
In addition to steaks and seafood, the menu boasts lamb, pork and poultry dishes, and a variety of appetizers, side dishes and desserts. More than 250 world-class wines grace the award-winning wine list and are available to complement any meal.
The Ruth’s Chris Kauai team is led by General Manager Matt Sutherland and Executive Chef Jacob Cook. Together with their team, they look forward to bringing Ruth’s Chris’ signature culinary experience to the South Shore of Kauai from their new location on the second floor of The Shops at Kukui‘ula.

Ruth’s Chris Steak House appeals to residents and visitors alike. Oahu restaurants are located at Waterfront Plaza and Waikiki Beach Walk.
