PUHI — Kauai Community College Chancellor Helen Cox said the place was buzzing Monday when the college opened its doors to the spring semester for 1,219 students, an increase of 9.5 percent over the 1,085 students for the same time last year.
Students came from all over, including several Running Start students who enroll in college courses to get a jump start on their college paths as well as students who just enjoy learning and continue in courses.
Cox said a new program with the Kauai Chamber of Commerce where courses are developed with the help of chamber members will have a portion of the course fees going back to benefit the chamber will help boost student enrollment even more.
The opening also marks the resumption of food service at the cafeteria with the fine dining program scheduled to start, shortly.
What bills? $pend it all on school. What is your topic? Auto machanic, electronics, or accounting.
35 years ago. And yes. Driver’s license still. I drove a Toyota hatchback to school then. It was a family car.
I’m also certified in Java programming. Learned it at UH.
Congrats. Why?
I own two lap tops, a toshiba 2011, a acer 2013. Both out of battery. I am typing on an android iphone. I use it to forum. I gossip on all sports on Warrior sports network. I have been on for four years, and I am short of 5,000 post. I guess you can say, I am close to a web nerd. All started from lowly KCC. Wew…?
Stop by at that forum. Talking about your mayor was my guy. Cheap talk.
Qualified. This year I make 5,000 post in 5 years time. Drop by, I’ll be there. Another codename.
Because I am better than your mayor. And Mike Tressler of Kapa’a high school coach in 2015′.
I’m just for them, education. ie. What is an interface? Describe collections. List.
I’m not with your politics and your mayor. Get real.
The guy’s a failure. You don’t want to be him.
