the St. Louis Crusaders football team this fall — junior linebacker Ikaika
Curnan, junior defensive back Enoch McKeague, sophomore guard Troy Isera and
sophomore linebacker Kawai Curnan.
Ikaika Curnan, McKeague and Isera are
starters.
St. Louis (13-1) will take on a challenge from the Waimea
Menehunes (8-0-1) in the state semifinals this Friday at 5 p.m. at Aloha
Stadium.
KIF soccer starts on Saturday
HANAPEPE — The Kaua’i
Interscholastic Federation soccer season starts this Saturday at Vidinha
Stadium.
A total of six games will be played, including four varsity and
two junior varsity contests.
Waimea and Kapa’a will tangle in boys (9:30
a.m.) and girls (11 a.m.) junior varsity games and boys (4 p.m.) and girls
(5:45) varsity games.
In addition, Kaua’i High School will go up against
Island/Kula Schools in boys (12:30 p.m.) and girls (2:15 p.m.) varsity
games.
For Island/Kula, it will be their first girls varsity game ever. For
the past two years, the Wolf-Pac girls played in junior varsity only.
