KAUA’I PLASTIC RECYCLING COLLECTION — The Kaua’i Plastic Recycling Program
Committee and the Rotary Club of Hanalei Bay will sponsor a residential plastic
recycling collection on Saturday, Jan. 8, from 9 a.m. to 1` p.m. at the Prince
Albert Park in Princeville.
Plastic containers #2 including #2 and #4
plastic bags will be collected.
Volunteers are also needed to help that
day.

“THE SPIRIT OF HAPPINESS” WORKSHOP — Jan. 9, 1-5 p.m., Prince
Club House. Begin new millennium with happiness and learn how to make it last
every moment of life. Presented by Robert and Miranda Holden, from England, and
local residents Tom and Linda Carpenter. Robert Holden is author of “Happiness
Now,” a best-seller in England. Suggested donation for gathering is $35, but no

HA’ENA BEACH — North Shore, easy three miles on Thursday, Jan. 20. Great sand
beaches of Ha’ena, a wonderful place to catch a sunset and moon rise.
