Daniel Christobal Duldulao of Kilauea died Jan. 12, 2000, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at the age of 90. A laborer for the sugar plantation and Waioli Church in Hanalei, he was born July 16, 1909, in the Philippines.
He is survived by his wife: Salome Ramos Duldulao of Kilauea; one son: Benjamin Duldulao of California; two grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Friends and family may call on Thursday, Jan. 20, at Kilauea Episcopal Church from 9 a.m. to 11:15 a.m., where services will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Burial to follow at the church cemetery. Casual attire is suggested.

Caroline Feiteira
Caroline “Carrie” Feiteira of Kahului, Maui, died Jan. 17, 2000, at Kula Hospital on Maui at the age of 80. She was born Sept. 16, 1919, in Kilauea, Kaua’i.
She is survived by three sons: Glenn (Carol) Feiteira of Kaneohe, Patrick (May) Feiteira of Placentia, Calif., and Matthew (Blossom) Feiteira of Haiku; two daughters: Gwendolyn Lopes of Kihei and Druscilla S. Feiteira of Kahului; three brothers: Joseph, William and Manuel Freitas, all of Kilauea, Kaua’i; five sisters: Josephine Freitas of Waipahu, Hilda Camara and Anabelle Hirschi, both of California, Loretta Boro of Kilauea and Kathleen Poe of Honolulu; 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 19, at Borthwick Mortuary-Norman’s Chapel; service at 7 p.m. Services will be held again from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 20, at Christ the King Church on Maui; with Mass to begin at 10 a.m. and burial at 11:15 a.m. at Maui Veteran’s Cemetery. Casual attire is suggested.

Thomas Osakoda
Thomas Tsutomo Osakoda of Aiea, HI; died Jan. 13, 2000, at the age of 82. Born in Paia, Maui, he was a former elementary school principal with the state Department of Education, served in schools on Maui and Oahu and retired as principal of Waipahu Elementary School.
He is survived by his wife: Michiko Osakoda; sons: Thomas (Susan) Osakoda and Walter (Dorothy) Osakoda; daughter: Florence (David) Taogoshi; 14 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandson; sisters; Kiyono Shishido, Haruko Sorenaka, and Katherine (Saburo) Ota.
Friends may call Friday, Jan. 21, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Mililani Mortuary Mauka Chapel at Waipahu, O’ahu, Hawaii; memorial service at 6:30 p.m. Casual attire is suggested.
