WAIMEA – The year 2000 annual meeting of the West Kaua’i Business and
Professional Association (WKBPA) will assemble at the newly renovated Historic
Waimea Theatre, on Thursday, Jan. 27, kicking off at 5 p.m., with heavy pupus
and refreshments, provided by several Westside restaurants and
markets.
Members and guests will also enjoy Westside entertainment provided
by Kane Turalde.
Invited guests include Governors’ Liaison Roy Nishida,
Kaua’i Mayor Maryanne Kusaka, Kaua’i Council Chair Ron Kouchi, and Kaua’i
Chamber of Commerce President Mamo Cummings.
Special guest speaker will be
Robert Mullins, former Assistant to the Mayor and presently an executive with
Textron Industries, located at the Waimea Technology and Tourism
Center.
Community members are welcome to attend this annual WKBPA meeting.
Members, guests and the community are requested to pay $20 each at the
door, to defray the costs of food and entertainment.
