The Lihue Wal-Mart Store presented Kauai Habitat for Humanity with a grant of
$100 in December as part of the bonus involvement fund from the Wal-Mart
Foundation.
Kauai Habitat for Humanity used the funds for their New
Year’s Eve Cultural Festival at Nawiliwili Beach Park. The celebration ended at
midnight with a spectacular fireworks display.
“I am thrilled to
make this donation to Kauai Habitat for Humanity on behalf of our
associates,” said Lori Fifita, Lihue Storage Manager.
“This
bonus grant will be utilized for programs in our community and continues to
show commitment to the community in which we all live”.
