PO’IPU — Kurt Inouye and Rachel Kyono were the top scorers in leading the
Kaua’i High School golfers to boys and girls Kaua’i Interscholastic Federation
match victories last Saturday at the Po’ipu Bay Resort Golf Course.
Both
Inouye and Kyono carded 72s. Other top Red Raider individuals were Kirk
Matsumura with a 75, Darrin Furusho and Erick Wong with 76s, and Lehua Wise
with an 80.
Kapa’a placed second in both the boys and the girls match, led
by Juston Thomas with a 78, Jared Sunada with an 83, and Jasmine Ornellas with
an 89.
Waimea’s top individual boys golfers was Jason Miyazaki with an 83.
Ashley Moriguchi was the top Menehune girl on the day.
The next match is
next Saturday at the Wailua Golf Course.
