the county’s 17 &Under boys’ basketball league played on Monday, April 24 at
the Kalaheo Neighborhood Center.
Team Ekahi opened up by distancing the
Waimea JV 60-34. Waimea High increased their 3-point halftime lead to 5 points
at the end of their 64-59 win over On Fire, and Kapa`a High had three players,
Kapu Hendrickson (19), Jeffrey Gimenez (14), and Willy Carollo (10) in double
figures as they wrapped up a 74-50 win over the Hanapepe Dream
Team.
