Kalaheo, caretaker: Lavana Contrades of Lihu’e, many nieces, nephews and
cousins.
Services were held Monday with burial at Kaua’i Memorial
Gardens.
Arrangements were handled by Borthwick/Kaua’i
Mortuary.

Toshio “Toshi” Imoto of Papaikou, HI, died
April 14, at his home at the age of 71.
A retired property manager for
Dillingham Investment Corp, he was born Oct. 19, 1928, in Pu’u O’o,
HI.
Services will be held Wednesday, April 19, from 8:30 a.m. to 9:45 a.m.
at Immacula e Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Papaikou. with funeral Mass at
10 a.m. Burial will follow at Homelani Memorial Park. The family suggests
casual attire and requests that flowers be omitted.
He is survived by his
son: Roger (Ann) Imoto of Papaikou; daughters: Gwendolyn (Michael) De Coito of
Hilo, Vanessa Kauina of Kapa’a; Paulette (Kelly) Kurakazu of Hilo, and Iris
(Steven) Camara of Hilo; five grandchildren,, brother: Hideo (Seiko) Imoto of
O’ahu; sisters: Natsuko Watanabe of Hilo, Yukiko Hiraoka of Honolulu, Tomie
(Masanori) Ohara of Oahu, and Tsuruyo Chong of Honolulu; numerous nephews and
nieces.
