The Good Friday holiday has created several schedule revisions in the local
sports calendar.
KIF Girls’ Basketball which normally plays on Tuesday and
Friday night will have the Kaua`i High School Red Raiders travelling to the
Clem Gomes Gymnasium in Waimea for their matchup against the Menehunes on
Thursday, April 20.
The JV game will tip off at 5:30 p.m. with the varsity
contest following twenty minutes after the conclusion of that game.
The
county’s 17 & Under boys basketball game originally scheduled to play at
the Kalaheo Neighborhood Center on Thursday, April 20 has been pushed back to
May 14 because of the holiday.
Teams involved in the schedule change are
the Waimea JV vs. Dream Team (6 pm), Team Ekahi vs Kapa`a High School (7:15
pm), and Boys & Girls Club vs Da Realest (8:30 pm).
