Guillermo of the Philippines; 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; one
brother: Paulo (Nenita) Martinez of Koloa, Kauai; numerous uncles, aunts,

with rosary at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 10, at the St. Theresa Catholic
Church; service officiated by Father Alex will begin at 10 a.m. followed by
burial at the Hanapepe Public Cemetery. Casual attire is suggested.

1913, she was a retired cannery worker; and is survived by: one daughter:
Charlotte (Paul) Nakamura of Kapaa, Kauai; one daughter-in-law: Beverly
Hashimoto of Kapaa, Kauai; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one
great-great-grandchild; one brother: Charles Hachikubo of Kapaa, Kauai;
numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

2 p.m. on Monday, June 12, at the Kapaa Hongwanji Mission; service officiated

Richard Arashiro
Richard Kiyoshi Arashiro, of Wailua Houselots,
Kauai, died at home on June 5, 2000, at the age of 74. Born in Kekaha, Kauai,
on July 22, 1925, he was a retired carpenter with Kauai Builders and also a U.
S. Army Staff Sergeant during World War II.
He is survived by: his wife:

Arashiro of Wailua Homesteads, Kauai, Kurt Arashiro of Wailua Houselots, Kauai,
and Craig Arashiro of Wailua Houselots, Kauai; two daughters: April Arashiro
and Darlene Arashiro, both of Wailua Homesteads, Kauai; three grandchildren;
two brothers: Yonezo Arashiro of Wailua Houselots, Kauai and Charlie Takeo
Arashiro of ‘Ele’ele, Kauai; two sisters: Natsuko Matsuda of Honolulu, Oahu and
Sumiko Hamabata of Hanapepe, Kauai; and one aunt, numerous nieces, nephews and
