The Cortez family can only wait patiently on the whereabouts of their son Davis
Cortez, Jr., who was declared a missing person by the Kaua’i Police Department
nearly two months ago. One can only imagine such a sense of frustration and
hopelessness felt by his family. All related to Davis, Jr., cannot help but
feel betrayed by the very system that is suppose to be there for him and his
family.
The search for him seemed destined to fail from the beginning and
continues to remain void of any progress. The community of Kaua’i should really
take heed. This could easily be your son, brother, sister or relative.
Like
any worried and concerned mom and dad would do, they organized a search party
consisting of family, friends and other relatives. To no avail. All that could
be found were shredded items of clothing that could possibly be his. Family and
friends have not given up and their search continues.
There is an abundance
of rumors that Davis Cortez, Jr., has been sighted at various spots on Kaua’i.
Davis Cortez, Jr.’s father (D. Cortez Sr.) has made a concerned effort to
follow up on all those rumors. But he is only one man and there is not enough
time in a day for him to make a thorough search. In no way is Davis Cortez Jr.
a threat to anyone. So Davis Cortez Sr. (father) asks that, if anyone sees and
or knows him, please tell him that his family loves him and wants him
home.
To the Cortez family it’s a loss of their son and brother. No word
can adequately express the pain and frustration that this family is
experiencing.
They would like to thank everyone for your prayers and
support for helping to look for Davis Cortez, Jr.
