Raymond Pantorilla Jr. Raymond Pantorilla Jr., of Kekaha died in Honolulu

July 12, 2000, at the age of 66. A retired truck driver for Kekaha Sugar

Plantation, he was born Sept. 15, 1933, in Waipahu, O’ahu.

He is survived

by his wife, Lucille; sons, Raymond P. McCoy, Charles “William” and Danny “R”

Santiago; daughters, Theresa Lonneker and Yvette Torres; sisters, Dora Habagat,

Clara Tacub, Shirley Martin, Nancy Valente and Emily Paruginog; 10

grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held

Saturday, July 22, at St. Theresa’s Church in Kekaha. Visitation will be from 8

a.m. to 10 a.m. with Mass to follow. Scattering of ashes will be done at a

later date. The family suggests casual attire and asks that flowers be

omitted.

Arrangements are being handled by Ultimate Cremation Services of

Hawai’i.

Kesa Awa

Kesa Awa, of Waimea, Kaua’i, died at Wilcox Memorial

Hospital on July 9, 2000, at the age of 85. Born in Waimea, Kaua’i on April

26, 1915, she is survived by: son: James (Jane) Awa of Lihu’e, Kaua’i;

daughter: Jean (Charles) Young of Honolulu, O’ahu; five grandchildren; three

great-grandchildren; sister: Sue (William) Fung of Honolulu, O’ahu; and

numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Services were private. Arrangements were

handled by Garden Island Mortuary, Ltd.

Ayako Michioka

Ayako Michioka

of Mililani Town, O’ahu; died June 26, 2000, at Wahiawa General Hospital at the

age of 79. She was born Dec. 20, 1920, in Koloa, Kaua’i. She is survived by

four sons: Stanley, Melvin, and Gary Michioka, all of Kaua’i, Robert Michioka

of Hilo; one daughter: Mary Fuji of Mililani, seven grandchildren, three great

grandchildren; three brothers: Iwao Sukisaki of Kaua’i, Isao Sukisaki of O’ahu,

and James Sukisaki of Kaua’i; and three sisters: Shizue Nakata, Yoshino Ishii,

and Patricia Scribner, all of Kaua’i.

Private memorial services were held.

Arrangements were handled by Mililani Mortuary.
