I want to take this opportunity to inform the community
that the Kaua’i Products Council has an initiative underway to assist
productmakers and growers on our island. This program is called the Business
Advancement Project. The project will provide mentors and business workshops.
In addition, the council, in partnership with the Kaua’i Food Bank, will offer
instruction in farming and marketing produce and other crops.
The project
is just now getting underway. Information about the project and how to benefit
from it will be in the press soon.
