Batgirl Alyssa Morgosh of the Carlsbad Mustangs was thrilled that her team had
the lead and eventually went on to beat the Mets 14-8 in the opening game of
the Kaua`i Aloha 2000 Series. The tournament continues with a golf tournament
fundraiser for the West Kaua`i Youth Baseball Program on Saturday followed by a
series of softball games at the Anne Knudsen Park before the luau that starts
at 5:30 p.m. at the Hale O Rosie in the park. There are a total of seven
Carlsbad Mustang, Bronco, PONY, and girls softball teams participating in the
goodwill tournament.
