Charleen KinneyCharleen Kauilani Gee Moy-Fu Kinney of Princeville, Kaua’i

died Sept. 10, 2000, at her home at the age of 46.

A homemaker, she was

born Nov. 30, 1953, in Lihu’e, Kaua’i.

She is survived by her husband:

William Kaleo “Blue” Kinney, Sr. of Princeville; two daughters: Kalae Fu Kinney

of Princeville and Chelsea Nohealani Kinney of Washington; one son: William

Kaleo Kinney, Jr. of Princeville; her father: Edwin Fu, Sr. of Princeville; two

brothers: Wendall (Joanna) Fu of Kilauea and Edwin “Junior” Fu of Kapa’a; one

step-brother: Billy (Darlene) Pa of Kapa’a; four sisters: Edleen (Wilfred) Kaui

of Keapana; Clara Fu of Princeville, Helena Giltner of Wailua, and Marleen

(Greg) Goodwin of Princeville; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and

cousins.

Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 13, at the Hanalei

Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at 9 a.m. Services to be celebrated at 11

a.m. Cremation to follow.

Casual attire is suggested. Arrangements are

being handled by Borthwick/Kaua’i Mortuary.

Gladys S.

Madeira, of Kapa’a, Kaua’i, died at Wilcox Memorial Hospital on Sept. 9, 2000,

at the age of 51.

Born in Honolulu, Oahu on March 21, 1949, she was a

Pre-School Teacher with Kapaa Missionary Church.

She is survived by: her

husband: Rodney L. Madeira of Kapa’a; her mother: Kiyoko Matsuura of Kapa’a;

mother-in-law: Annie Madeira of Waianae, O’ahu; two brothers: Norman (Dale)

Matsuura of Kapa’a and Rod Matsuura of Honolulu, Oahu; and one sister: Lei

(Larry) Odani of Kalihi, Oahu; numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and

cousins.

Friends may visit with the family at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 17,

at the Kapaa Missionary Church; service officiated by Pastor Ed Terui will

begin at 3 p.m. Casual attire is suggested.
