three nephews: Randy Chow of O’ahu, Niko Chow of Kapa’a and Chandler Kaaa of
Hilo; and one niece, Acacia Kaaa of Hilo.
Visitation is scheduled for
Saturday, Sept. 23, at Borthwick/Kaua’i Mortuary Chapel in Koloa from 9 a.m.
with services to be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Lihu’e Public
Cemetery.
Casual attire is suggested. Arrangements are being handled by
Borthwick/Kaua’i Mortuary.

Ada Mildred Gentry of
Kekaha, Kaua’i, died Sept. 1, 2000, at Kaua’i Veterans Memorial Hospital at the
age of 92.
A homemaker, she was born June 30, 1908, in Kilauea,
Kaua’i.
She is survived by two sons: Ritchie (Mary) Gentry of Kekaha and
John (Jolene) Gentry of Honokaa; two daughters: Helen (Richard) Coffman of
Lawai and Patricia Horton of Kekaha; 10 grandchildren and eight
great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Private services
were held on Thursday, Sept. 7.

Manuel Ledesma
Manuel “Manny” Salkes Ledesma
of Honolulu died Sept. 14, 2000, in Honolulu, at th eage of 77.
Born March
31, 1923, in Koloa, Kaua’i, he was a retired merchant seaman.
He is
survived by his wife, Evelyn K. Ledesma of Honolulu; children, Ronald “Ronnie”
Ledesma of Honolulu, Robin Cuellar of Lake Tahoe, NV and Brandy “Kekoa” Ledesma
of Kapa’a, Kaua’i; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brothers,
Phillip, Antone and Matthew Ledesma; sister, Lena Perry. Visitation on
Thursday, Sept. 21, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary
on O’ahu; service at 11 a.m. Private commital service at a later date. Casual
attire is suggested. Arrangements are being handled by Ordenstein’s Hawaiian
Memorial Park Mortuary.

Delia Marie Tumpap Del
Rosario, of Hanama’ulu, Kaua’i, died at Queen’s Medical Center on Sept. 17,
2000, at the age of 23.
Born in Lihu’e, Kaua’i on March 7, 1977, she was
a student at Kaua’i Community College.
She is survived maternal
grandparents: Jose & Felipa Tumpap; numerous uncles, aunts and
cousins.
Friends may visit with the family at 9 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 22,
at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church; mass officiated by Father Paul
will begin at 11 a.m. Followed by burial at Kauai Memorial Gardens. Casual
attire is suggested.
Arrangements are being handled by Garden Island
Mortuary.
