Girls action for Sept. 2 . . .
Division 6: The Waimea Little
Rascals battled the Hanapepe Lady Bugs at Hanapepe. Lady Bugs’ goals were
scored by Alana Griep (5), Bronte’ Acosta and Danei Cachero.
Outstanding
players for the Little Rascals were Kamaile Kapanui, Britney Ellis, Taylor
Delos Reyes, Clarrisa Arlint and Tiffany Hutchings. For the Lady Bugs, Griep,
Kolina Bowers, Irene Kocher and Shannon Vidinha were named outstanding
performers.
Elsewhere, the Kalaheo Powerpuff Girls and Koloa Rainbows
battled at Kalawai Park. Rainbows’ goals were scored by Kuulei Zolopany (2) and
Cassidy Bare. Kalaheo got its goal from Shaylin Parker.
Under 14: The
Kalaheo Girls Who Kick got the best of the Kilauea Na Anela 3-1 at Kiluea. Erin
Pickett notched the goal for Na Anela, while Amanda Savage (2) and Emma Foley
scored for the Girls Who Kick.
Outstanding players for Kiuea were Stephanie
Perius, Joanne Kaona and Wehi Oliver. For Kalaheo, the noted players were Jade
Fisher, Jana Cano, Lauren Rosare and Sarah Shaw.
Boys action . .
Division 5: The Kalaheo Titans and Kalaheo Barracudas did battle at
Kalawai Park. Titans’ goals were netted by Aaron Swanson (3), Jason Morgan,
Kelsey Gaetiens and Austin Lord.
Outstanding players for the Titans were
Jordan Tottori and Iokai Barich. For the Barracudas, Kainoa Tin, Ryan Parongao,
Danny Enriques and Kaleo Tin played outstanding.
Elsewhere, the Lihu’e
Metro Stars and Hanapepe Rockers tangled at Koloa-Waikomo Field. Torrey
Santiago scored three goals for the Rockers. Kainoa Robinson notched the goal
for Lihu’e.
Outstanding players for the Metro Stars were Chysen Nagao, Dane
Murata and Daniel Victor. The entire Rockers’ team was named
outstanding.
Under 6: The Koloa Jets visited the Hanapepe Hornets.
Outstanding players for the Hornets were Hoku Aviguetero, Michael Kocher,
Krieg Medeiros and Micah Quinlan. For the Jets, the outstanding players were
Mikey Kilcoyne, Andrew Pajela and Makalii Pratt.
Under 14: Kalaheo fell to
Lihu’e’s Da Crew 5-1 at Kalaheo. Goals for Da Crew were scored by Cody Mimura
(2), Bryce Hamamoto, Chad Naganuma and Marc Cagdon. For Kalaheo, Josh Bradbury
netted the only goal.
