Foodland, which has locations in Waipouli and Princeville, and Sack ‘n Save stores across Hawai’i are bringing cheer to Ronald McDonald House this Christmas.
In partnership with Pillsbury, Foodland and Sack ‘n Save will donate a portion of the sales of chilled Pillsbury dough products through Jan. 2 to Ronald McDonald House Charities-Hawai’i.
The latter is a not-for-profit organization for children. The Ronald McDonald House, located in Manoa, is a home away from home for families of seriously ill children who are hospitalized nearby.
“We are pleased to help Ronald McDonald House Charities this holiday season,” said Jenai Wall, Foodland president. “It not only supports a place where families from all the neighbor islands and around the Pacific Rim can stay while their children are being treated at Honolulu hospitals, but it also helps fund other organizations that are dedicated to improving the lives of children on all the islands of Hawai’i.” Since Ronald McDonald House opened 13 years ago, it has served more than 15,000 people.
