Services were private. Arrangements were handled by Garden Island

LaVerne Glaisyer
Family and friends mourn the
passing of LaVerne Glaisyer on Dec. 12, 2000 in Houston, Texas at the age of
73.
She was born on Oct. 12, 1927 in Dallas, Texas at the age of 73.
LaVerne accompanied her husband, Dr. Arthur “Rex” Glaisyer, to Kaua’i in
February 1946, where she lived for 28 years. Following her husband’s untimely
death, she returned to Texas in 1974.
She is survived by 3 children;
Vickey Glaisyer, currently residing in the Philippines, Cynthia Fletcher and
Reginald Glaisyer, both of Houston, and 6 grandchildren.
Funeral services
were held on December 15, 2000. She was buried in the family pot in Hempstead,
Texas. Friends are asked to remember her by paying a visit to the gravesite of
her beloved husband, Rex, located at the Koloa Hawaiian Cemetery.
