He is survived by his wife: Marlene Kaluahine Furtado of Kekaha; five daughters: Marla Ann (Maynard) Shea, Rhonda Laureen (Glenn) Gaspar, June Dale (Douglas) Aviguetero, Lola May (Rocky) Aviguetero, Barbie Lee (Thomas) Duarte; two sons: Francis “Kana” (Momi) Furtado, Jr. and Frank Wayne Furtado; one hanai daughter: Princess Kaiulani; three brothers: Ezra (Pua) Furtado of Waimanalo, Vincent (Judy) Furtado of Oahu, Lamont (Pat) Furtado of Ewa; one sister: Odetta (Douglas) Naka’ahiki of Hauula; 34 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Overnight visitation will be on Thursday, Feb. 1, at the residence at 7994 Kekaha Road, from noon. Visitation will be again on Friday, Feb. 2, at the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Kekaha Ward at noon, services to be celebrated at 3 p.m. Burial to follow at Kekaha Hawaiian Cemetery.
Casual attire is suggested. Arrangements are being handled by Borthwick/Kaua’i Mortuary.
Danny Galingan
Danny Galingan of Lihu’e, Kaua’i died at Wilcox Memorial Hospital on Jan. 22, 2001, at the age of 43.
An office worker at Kaua’i Community College, he was born in Tayug, Pangasinan, Philippines. He was born on September 22, 1957.
He is survived by his mother: Epefania Ballesteros Galingan of Lihu’e; two sisters: Wilma (Trini) Raval and Lolita (Romie) Mabini both of Lihu’e, numerous aunties, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation are scheduled for Saturday, February 3, at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Kalaheo, from 8 a.m. Mass to be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at the Kaua’i Memorial Gardens in Lihu’e.
Casual attire is suggested. Arrangements are being handled by Borthwick Kaua’i Mortuary.
