A Mokihana Aquatics’ member swings through the 50-yard butterfly during Mokihana’s purple & white intrasquad meet Saturday, Feb. 18, at Kaua’i High School. Nearly all 68 members of the swim club participated from the age group 8-and-under to the masters group (55-60). The purple team defeated the white 480-408. Highlights included two father/daughter races. Times were taken in preparation for a busy season ahead as Mokihana will be attending seven off-island meets in the next four months. The first such meet for Mokihana will be March 3-4 at the “Sparky” Kawamoto ABC Meet held in Hilo.
