WAIMEA — The Kaua’i JV girls scored 80 points against Kapa’a last Friday night. Unfortunately for them, Waimea was able to crack their press. Doing so led the Menehunes to a 40-29 victory Tuesday, and a 2-0 record in the Kaua’i Interscholastic Federation.
The Red Raiders dropped to 1-1.
Friday’s game between Waimea and Kapa’a has been cancelled due to the teacher’s strike which took effect Thursday at midnight.
