5:38 p.m. A Kapa’a resident’s backpack and boogie board were stolen while he was at the beach.
July 1
8:33 a.m. A Kaua’i Marriott guest’s room was entered and money was taken.
8:52 a.m. A 41-year-old Koloa man was arrested on felony sexual assault charges.
11:59 a.m. An Omao 13-year-old boy was arrested for trespassing.
7:14 p.m. A Kilauea woman said an estranged male family member had violated his temporary restraining order.
7:58 p.m. Wilcox Emergency Hospital emergency room personnel reported treating a dogbite victim.
8:30 p.m. An anonymous caller reported that somebody had dumped metal on Malu Road.
July 2
12:05 a.m. A Wailua man reported his 17-year-old daughter hadn’t come home.
6:21 a.m. A Kekaha woman said two vehicles were burglarized overnight.
7:59 a.m. A Koloa woman reported a tan pit bull was loose.
11:03 a.m. A Kapa’a man said his son was assaulted by another man.
11:11 a.m. A Wailua woman complained that a family dog had been attacked by a neighbor’s dog.
11:15 a.m. An 18-year-old Kapa’a man was arrested on felony burglary and theft charges.
7:11 p.m. A Wailua man reported two loose dogs attacked his dog.
8:21 p.m. A Kilauea resident heard a gunshot from a passing vehicle on Kilauea Road near the lighthouse.
10:04 p.m. An anonymous caller reported a female was having difficulties with a man at her house in Kapa’a.
10:22 p.m. An anonymous woman in Kapa’a complained about loud singing.
July 3
1:37 a.m. A caller reported juveniles on the loose in a golf cart on Nalo Road in the vicinity of Brennecke’s Beach in Po’ipu.
2:18 a.m. Police were called to Po’ipu Beach Park to investigate a large gathering.
3:20 a.m. A Kapa’a man reported having trouble with a woman.
