Former Kaua’i Red Raider volleyball standout Heather Roberts has been named American Midwest honorable mention All Conference for her performance with William Woods University this season.
Roberts was one of three members of the Owls team to obtain All Conference honors.
Kekaha Youth Baseball info
KAUA’I, Hawaii – The Kekaha Youth Baseball Organization will be having a parent meeting on the upcoming Shetland and Pinto division baseball season on Thursday, Nov. 29 at 7 p.m. at the Kekaha Pavillion.
Parents who have registered their child or wants to register are encouraged to attend. You need to provide three copies of a birth certificate or medical card upon registration. The fee for registering is $35. Call Edmund D. Acoba in the evening at 337-1301 for more info.
Po’okela Girl’s Volleyball Club
KAUA’I, Hawaii – Po’okela Girl’s Volleyball Club will be having an informational/sign up meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 27, at Lihu’e Neighborhood Center at 7 p.m. The age level divisions will be 12 and under, 14 and under and 16 and under and 18 and under. The club is a member of the USA Junior Volleyball-Aloha Region. The program starts with tryouts on Dec. 3 and 10, on Sunday afternoons. Actual practices will start in Jan. 2002. Come hear more about the Club philosophy, goals, and meet the coaching staff. For those who are interested please call Richard Roberts at 332-7083, so we can get an idea of how many will be attending. Parents need to be present with their daughter.
Men’s Softball Tournament
KAUA’I, Hawaii – The Kaua’i Hui ‘Ohana Co-Ed and Men’s Softball Tournament Fundraiser will be held at Waimea Canyon Ball Park, Friday, Nov. 30 through Sunday, Dec. 2. Entry Fee: $125 per team.
