Kapa’a High School Athletic Director Dwight Fujii is on the lookout for a new head football coach, the Garden Island learned Tuesday.
Fujii said he has yet to find a replacement for former head honcho Gordon Muramaru, who resigned last week.
“We are currently accepting applications for the job,” said Fujii, who didn’t cite any specific reasons why Muramaru decided to leave the Warriors’ football program.
“We think the job interferes with some of the other things [Muramaru] wants to do,” said Fujii. “We wish him well in his future endeavors.”
