A fundraising account has been opened to benefit the American Heart Association and family of late entertainer Moe Keale, 62, who died April 15 after a heart attack.
Keale was probably best known in the islands for his musical work with the group Sons of Hawaii, who created some of the best-selling Hawaiian records of all time. The Hawaiian musician has family ties to Ni’ihau.
The American Heart Association will use the funds collected to raise community awareness of heart disease and stroke in Hawai’i.
Donations may be made to the “Friends of Moe Keale” account at any First Hawaiian Bank branch.
