A Garden Island story recently said voters will be voting at the same precincts this year as they had done so in the previous election.
Because of population shift and a change in district lines, some Kaua’i voters will actually be assigned to vote in a different polling place for the 2002 Election, said County Clerk Peter Nakamura.
Voters in Kapa’a to Kalaheo are most likely to be affected by polling place changes because the areas are where a majority of the district and precinct line changes occurred.
