Wailua Homesteads man arrested in child porn bust

Authorities indicted a 58-year-old Kaua’i man in what federal prosecutors said is one of the biggest Internet child pornography busts ever in Hawai’i, according to a KITV report fr0m Honolulu.

Prosecutors said Martin Finer of Wailua Homesteads had almost 6,000 computer files and 3,000 movie files that contained child pornography including files showing minors in sexual acts. The evidence was found during a search made by federal agents of Finer’s home in May.

Finer is in custody at the Federal Detention Center in Honolulu and is scheduled to appear at a bail hearing on Monday.
