Two 10-under KYBA basketeball games took place on Wednesday at the Kalaheo NC Gymnasium.
The Kaumakani Supersonics topped the Lihue and 1 in a game which Lihue was forced to forfeit. Of the 20 points Kauamakani scored in the game, Aiko Grande scored eight of them.
In the second game, the Westside Hornets edged the Waimea Lakers 21-20 with the help of Tanisha DeFabian’s 10 points.
Bransen Agu led the Lakers with eight points.
On Tuesday, July 9, HB and the Globetrotters each walked away from Kalaheo with wins in Boys 17-under KYBA ball.
Rogilio Sagisi scored 12 points to lead HB to a 34-32 win over Waimea.
Casey Kaohelowii Jr., Allen Akeem and Austin Alquiza each scored six points for Waimea.
In the second game, Alec Carbonel scored 10 points to lead the Globetrotters to a 50-19 win over the Lihue Shadows.
Brandon Ballesteros led the Shadows with 8 points.
