The SSS TransPac is handicapped using the PCR rating and a time on distance course length of 2120 nautical miles. Here are the final results.
Mark Deppe’s Alchera came in first in the ULDB class with the corrected finish time of 11:03:43:35. The yacht arrived in Hanalei on June 28.
In second place of the division was Tony Carr’s TeaseHobie 33, which arrived on June 29 in the corrected time of 11:22:40:00.
In third was Erik Schwartz’ Rusalka, which arrived on June 30 with the corrected time of 12:17:50:00, and John Guzzwell’s Endangered Species followed on July 1 with the fourth place time of 13:02:36:59.
Jim Kellam’s Haulback came in first place in the Displacement class. He arrived in Hanalei on July 1 and garnered the corrected time 10:10:48:11.
He was followed by Steve Wilson’s Westerly, which finished on June 30 in the corrected time of 10:22:19:57.
In third place was Jim Tallet’s Zapped, which had a corrected time of 11:04:32:24 and included a two hour penalty for failure to check in.
Zapped arrived on June 29. And in fourth place was Lou Freeman’s Seabird Swan, which arrived June 30 with the corrected time of 13:00:32:23.
