A.E. “Toots” Minivielle Invitational Regatta sponsored by the Outrigger Duke Kahanamoku Foundation held on Saturday and Sunday (one man canoes)
Keiki paddling cres, ages 10 to 18, from Tahiti, Maui, Kauai, the Big Island and Oahu competed in a “world sprints” format in Na Opio Canoe Racing Association’s (NOCRA) annual invitational event.
NOCRA is a non-profit organization, which hosts seven outrigger canoeing events each year and is sponsored by the Police Activities League (PAL) and the Hawaiian Canoe Racing Association (HCRA). The following winners are from Kaua’i:
