Mary Takiguchi of Lihu’e, died at Wilcox Memorial Hospital on April 24, 2003 at the age of 79.
Born in Lihu’e, on June 3,1923, she was the Sole Proprietor of Tad & Mary’s.
She is survived by son, Robin, (Val) Takiguchi of Lihu’e; daughters, Diane Matsukawa of O’ahu, Sandy (Hubert) Minn of O’ahu and Joy (Arthur) Chow of Lihu’e, Kauai; brother, Henry (Mildred) Sasaki of Lihu’e; sisters, Nora Tada of Lihu’e, Flora Cox of Lihu’e and Helen Pruitt of Georgia; 6 grandchildren; 1great-grandchild; numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, April 30, at the Lihu’e Christian Church; service officiated by Rev. James Koyama will begin at 10 a.m. Followed by interment at the Kaua’i Memorial Gardens. Casual attire is suggested and flowers omitted.
