Anyone interested in coaching positions at Waimea High School should contact the athletic director at 338-6804 for information and applications.

Castillo advances on at tourney

Defending champion Kiahuna Golf Club pro Ron Castillo Jr. advanced to the quarterfinals of the Turtle Bay Resort Match Play Championship at Palmer Course on O’ahu on Tuesday.

The quarterfinals begin today at 7 a.m. with the 36-hole final taking place later today.

The purse for the tourney is $11,000 with $7,150 for the champion.
