Morioka defeated La‘akea Warren 2 and 1 while Nathan Wong bested Tyler Costa 4 and 3 in the 10 and under boys match (forward tees- 9 holes).
In the 11 and 12 boys and girls match (forward tees-9 holes, Kelan Adachi defeated Jessica Castillo 1 up on the 11th hole. Levi Miyashiro earned a 4-3 win over Keilan Shigematsu.
In the 11 and 12 boys and girls (18 holes) competition, Taylor Bell beat Hoku Costa 5-3, Troy Jacinto beat Kyle Wong 3-2, Kaimana Rivera edged Malia Saiki 1 up and Royce Ramos bet Kyle Furusho 2-1.
Jet Levinthol beat Maikai Laureta 1 up on the 19th hole in the 13 and 14 boys championship flight while Cyrus Ogawa bested Wiley Yoshioka 1 up in the 13-14 boys A flight.
In the 13-14 boys B flight, Micah Yoshioka took a 6-5 win over Kaimana Jordan 6-5 while Alan Castillo defeated Ryan Wong 2 up.
Stephen Peeren defeated Abraham Akutagawa 2 up in the 15-18 boys championship flight while Brandon Hirota defeated Landon Peeren 4-2 while Scott Lopez bested Bubby Saiki 1 up. The semifinal and final round will be held Saturday and Sunday.
