Cody Kangiser softball tourney this weekend in Kekaha

Nine men’s softball teams and five women’s softball teams will converge at the Kekaha Field for a softball tournament benefitting Cody Kangiser, a 10-year-old suffering with brain tumors.

The tournament begins Friday evening at 6 p.m. and runs through Sunday afternoon followed by a home run derby for all interested people with a luau closing off the fundraising efforts at the Kekaha Neighborhood Center.

The public is invited to watch the competition.
