Ekolu tennis teams captains meeting this weekend
A captains’ meeting for all Ekolu tennis teams will be held on Saturday, Aug. 30 at 1 p.m. at Ala Lani Tennis.
Match schedules will be determined at this meeting.
Ekolu teams are comprised of mixed, women’s, and men’s doubles with a minimum of six players.
The league season will extend to Nov. 7 with the winning teams of each division advancing to the State Sectional playoffs scheduled for Dec. 6-7 on O‘ahu.

Medeiros leads Hanapepe Dragons
Jason Medeiros notched a pair of goals with Kekoa Tacub adding to the effort with a score as the Hanapepe Dragons opened their AYSO season against the Kalaheo Dragons at Kalawai Park.
Hanapepe also got good play from Justin Silv, John Cachero, Jr., and Brock Tacata.
(Note: AYSO doesn’t keep scores for age groups U8 and U6.)
Wailua Cobras 2-1 over Kilauea Marchers in AYSO
Evan Albert-Kaahea led the Wailua Cobras to a 2-1 win over the Kilauea Night Marchers on Friday night at the Kilauea Field.
Tyler Dora scored the sole Marchers goal.
John Delaney is the coach for the Marchers with Loui Gonsalez at the coaches slot for the Cobras.
