Dozens of motorcycle riders assembled at the Historic County Building before hitting the road.
The reason for this early morning ride, was to raise funds for Crystal Wolshin. The 15 year-old suffered a seizure in April and had to undergo surgery on a brain tumor.
The riders headed out to the westside to Waimea and some as far as Kekaha, before returning back.
The motorcycle fundraising ride Sunday will help with her medical expenses.
According to a family member, Crystal is doing well and with prayers, love and generosity, she will be on her road to recovery very soon.
Another fundraiser to help with Wolshin’s medical expenses will be held on Saturday, Aug. 16, people can attend a spaghetti dinner and concert at the Kilohana Carriage House.
Music will feature Shilo Pa, Vic & the Victims, and Revival.
There will be prize drawings with many tempting treats up to win.
Tickets are $10 and are available at Kai Kane, Garden Island Propertise, Larry’s Music, Tire Warehouse, PhotoSpectrum, Progressive Expressions, and Haircuts in Waimea.
