Sante scored the only score in the game on a 10-yard charge with 6:11 left in the fourth quarter after Frank Speechens recovered a fumble on a muffed punt return. Speechens kicked the point-after point for the 7-0 Kaua‘i victory.
Kapa‘a answered as Kanoho engineered a long drive downfield only to have the scoring attempt snuffed whenKaua‘i’s Raymond Jerves blocked Kanoho’s pass with six seconds showing in the game.
