Governor Linda Lingle is scheduled to visit Kaua‘i on Tuesday, September 30 for a “talk story” meeting with Kaua‘i residents.
The talk is scheduled for the Chiefess Kamakahelei Middle School Cafeteria from 5:30 – 8:00 p.m.
The Governor plans to discuss key issues and provide an update on what her administration is doing to improve the quality of life in the state. She will also take questions about what concerns Kaua‘i residents have and what challenges and opportunities they see for their community and the rest of the state.
From 4 – 5 p.m. the same day the governor is to preside over the swearing-in ceremony for Kaua‘i residents recently appointed to various state boards and commissions.
On Wednesday, October 1 Lingle is set to address the Poipu Beach Rotary at their weekly membership meeting at the Hyatt Regency Kauai. The meeting runs from 7:30 – 8:30 a.m.
From 9:15 – 10:15 a.m. the governor is to be in Waimea to tour the Kaua‘i Community Health Center as part of her commitment to visit all the community centers in the state. The Governor also will visit the Kaua‘i Veterans Memorial Hospital, also in Waimea.
